We take pride in installing roofing systems, installing new deck systems along with other exterior home improvement upgrades.
Overview:
The Accounts Assistant posistion report to the COO.
This position is responsible for working closely with the transaction specialist, the management team as well as the company's accountant; monitoring, processing and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports.
This position also performs other day to day functions, including verifying, classifying, computing and recording financial transactions, prepairing invoices, bank deposits, bill payments, recording commissions, tracking PTO and running the payroll each week.
Duties:
-Prepare and send invoices -Track and post payments -,Track accounts receivables -Prepare and send out payables -Upload transactions into the CRM and print to file -Calculate sales commissions -Track PTO -Run payroll -Track vehicles and trailers to ensure accountant has them accounted for -Keep documentation of all company assets (bill of sales, receipts, etc) -Log in and print off and save receipts from vendor sites for jobcosting and transaction substantiation -Track and process/pay state sales tax -Process quarterly estimated tax payments -Accountable for collecting receipts based off of weekly bank and credit card and accounts transactions -Reconcile bank accounts -Assist in reviewing jobs' profitability and ensure jobs are closed timely -Provide administrative support to Management and accounting staff -Perform other general accounting functions as assigned, such as posting transactions into the accounting software -Maintain accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures for these controls -Assist in preparing and analyzing company financials -Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's accounting and customer relationship management programs Qualities, Characteristics and Aptitude:
